We believe that God has given all of us gifts that are to be used in service to him. At GCBC there are many opportunities for you to get involved, and use these gifts to contribute to the life of our church.
Bible studies
There are various bible studies that meet during the week. Each is unique and different. The best person to speak to about these groups is Pastor Chris, either after our Sunday service or on 0400 175 601.
Prayer Chain
At GCBC we believe in the power of prayer. Should you have a specific prayer request, we have a network of people who are willing to pray for you in the form of our “prayer chain”. We invite anyone who has made GCBC their home to also be a part of the prayer chain. To make a request send an email to [email protected] or call Pastor Chris on 0400 175 601.
Wednesday Prayer Meeting
This happens every Wednesday from 6.30am at the church. This is one of the most important ministries of the church. We believe in the power of prayer and the importance of committing all of our activities to the Lord.

Religious Instruction in Schools program
The church is heavily involved in the local school RI program. We employ some members of our congregation to teach RI in the local schools. We also cooperate with the local fraternal and employ a fraternal based RI teacher as well as volunteers.

Music team
Our music at GCBC is based on the teachings from Colossians 3:16-17.
“16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. 17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
The Lord has blessed the church with a large and varied music team. As a result, the musical style of the church reflects what the Lord has blessed us with – large and varied.
That is why our music may vary weekly from biblically based modern worship songs to hymns, and our style from strings and guitars to big band. Our mission is always to be thankful, to encourage, to teach the Word and give all the praise, glory and honour to our awesome, amazing God.
