The College is a ministry of the Church. The school was started by the church in 2000. Back then it had 16 students- today it has over 1,050 students with 160 staff.
The College is run by a company consisting of Church members who have chosen to become College Company members. The majority of the College Board is elected from the company members.
The College is a separate legal entity to the Church, however, the Church and the College Board work hard to ensure that the College reflects the mission and values of the Church. The finances of Glasshouse Christian College and the Church are completely separate.
The church’s rule is “we are here for the school’s benefit, not the other way around”. As such, we say “the love must flow toward the school”.
